current Counter Drone systems

At the moment there a 9 different counter drone systems that can be used in 4 different ways.

The 4 different ways of usage are:

Ground-based: Fixed. These are systems that are used from the ground and are stationary.

Ground-based: Mobile systems are placed atop of a vehicle in order to be able to be moved.

Hand-held systems are designed to be held by 1 induvidial. These often look like guns.

UAV-based systems are counter drone systems attached to a drone.

At the moment there are 9 different counter drone systems in use.

Rf Jamming

Jams the radio frequentie link between the drone and the pilot by creating large amount of RF interference. When the pilot is unable to reach the drone, the drone will either immediatly land or execute the "return to home" command.

Jam the drone's sattelite link, E.g. GPS or GLONASS. The drone uses the sattelites to navigate. When this is not possible the drone ofter hovers, lands or flies back to the place of take-off.

GNSS Jamming

Spoofing

Using spoofing technology you can take control over a drone by providing false communication or positional information.

Dazzling uses a light beam or laser with high intentsity in the camera the drone carries in order to 'blind' the drone.

Dazzling

Laser

The lased destroys essential segments of the drone by using concentrated energy, thus ensuring the drone will crash land.

Sends a direct high intensity microwave pulse to a drone. This fries the electrical circuits, causing the drone to crash land.

High Power Microwave

Nets

Use a net to catch the drone and get the motors tengels up.

Use ordinary or custom made ammunition to destroy a drone.

Projectile

Collision Drone

A collision drone is made to collide against an illegal drone, thus making both drones crash land.
